As part of activities marking this year’s Aburi Odwira Festival, the GOIL South East Zone joined the people of Aburi for the much-anticipated Odwira Health Walk on Saturday, 8th November 2025.

Led by the Zonal Manager, South East, Ms. Nana Nyarko-Addy, the GOIL delegation included the Head of Fuels Marketing, Mr. Emmanuel Kwame  Agyiri, the Head of Corporate Affairs, Mr. Robert Kyere, the Dealer of the Aburi Gyankama Service Station, Mr. Samuel Lawson Owusu, as well as other managers and staff. The team actively participated in the walk, engaging with the community, dancing, and sharing in the festive excitement.

To add colour and energy to the celebration of culture, GOIL distributed branded T-shirts, umbrellas, face towels, caps, wristbands, and bottled water to participants along the route, reinforcing its commitment to community wellness and engagement.

Speaking to the crowd during the event, Mr. Emmanuel Kwame Agyiri, Head of Fuels Marketing at GOIL, reaffirmed the company’s dedication to delivering high-quality fuel at competitive prices to Ghanaians everywhere. He said, “GOIL’s Super XP fuel is additivated with XP3 to offer protection to your engine and the environment while providing longer mileage,  and we sell this as our Economy Fuel (RON 91).”

After the lively procession from the Chief’s Palace to the Methodist School Park and back, the celebration continued at the GOIL Aburi Gyankama Service Station, where a special customer promotion was held. Participants had the chance to “spin and win” exciting prizes including fuel coupons, GOIL lubricants, and other branded souvenirs.

The event was a vibrant prelude to the Odwira festivities - blending fitness, fun, and community spirit, and showcased GOIL’s enduring commitment to promoting health, culture, and togetherness among Ghanaians.
